Ana composed "One Breast Woman" in 2020 inspired by her own and other women stories regarding having or not breast reconstruction after mastectomy. The medical world is pushing women towards reconstruction saying that psychologically women may not feel complete anymore. Choosing to remain/become flat is highly questioned, despite all the implications of a reconstruction. This song is an anthem about being a woman no matter how many breasts she has. It is not breasts that make us women.
The track is recorded and produced by Ana at her home studio. The song was optimized, mixed and mastered together with Rogier Grosman. The cover art is made by Ana herself using a drawing that she made.
An accompanying music video will also be released. Ana filmed herself for the video in beautiful nature area close to Arnhem. The video was edited by Doni Irawan.
Ana produces her music independently at home and she has been learning music production skills by herself. In the last three years she composed an impressive number of songs plus other many ideas waiting to be further developed. Currently she is working on two albums. Ana adds often vocal layers with her own voice in her music productions.
